Re: Autocrosses @ night - SCCA Rules?

Ok, I wasn't sure if there was SCCA rules against it due to visibility concerns. A local region ( not mine ) has some coming up and was curious about it.

I can't see it being 'fun' other than it being different.

Autocrosses @ night - SCCA Rules?

Hey guys..

I think it was brought up here before about doing a night event and that it was shot down... am I right?

If so... was it a lot issue or was it SCCA national office?

Thanks in advance

Re: 2014 Schedule

You know Bradely... it's a shame that ETR doesn't do fun runs... I'd love to swap you cars for a run.

:)

Kim wants an Elise pretty bad, too...lol

The season can't start soon enough, and since it's going to be -11 degrees in the coming days here.... I am really hating the winter even worse.

Re: 2014 Schedule

Looks like I should be around for allot for the events.

Looks like I should be down there as a resident sometime in May or June.

Nice schedule :)

Re: whats next????

We're talking about doing some snowcrosses here in PA this winter

We did them a few winters ago and everyone had a blast. Fun watching S2000's with snow tires & top down running an autocross course in the snow.

Re: New Ride

the twins have been very competitive in our tire index class up here. Top 3 ( I think ) cars were an RX-8, and 2 twins. When they are set up they are very fast.

Nice car!

Re: Sure is quiet in here

My plan is to run AS R until my Hoosiers die then go to B street or STU until I get sick of sliding around and then sell the car. If I don't get tired of looking at it sitting over the winter and sell it before next season starts. what is really crazy is.... James Newman was out this weekend in his...

Re: Sure is quiet in here

walter, you're right... classes run parallel next year. Forgot about that. What burns me is that the Street classes are jacket eligible right out of the gate before they even tweak classing for 2015.

Re: Sure is quiet in here

Ok, so that may be the case, but he's driving on A6's now... next season to stay in "street" class, is that really going to be a car to have, especially locally?

STU might be a good choice for that car.

Re: wheels

Ok... I'm liking those wheels... and a few others there

Looks like no listings for offsets though... might have to think about those.
Make a nice set of street wheels and use my good ones for ax
