In my opinion, it would be a lot to absorb at once but I took them a year apart from each other. If you can't afford both, definitely do one. YOu get tons of track time and great instruction.

Lee, I meant to tell you that I thought the course worked out great for what you had to work with. It seemed to flow well and was quite challenging on the looking ahead part.

Jared,
Sorry I didn't see this earlier. We might have been able to work something out on the VW.

If you want dirt karting it is about 5 minutes from Smokies stadium. I've been there a few times and the crowd seems friendly enough. Just turn like you are going to the McDonald's and keep going past the stadium. The track is on the right. I can't remember if they run Friday or Saturday nights.

You can buy karting magazines at good book stores. I would start there.

You can also try here: http://www.worldkarting.com/

Seems like I remember 11:00 being thrown around since there aren't any churches in the area. That's my "educated" guess, anyway.

It's amazing how much of that is totally accurate. My favorite one is: "- You astound the clerk at Sears by bringing in a snapped breaker bar every other week or so." Try 3 in one day. On the 3rd one, the clerk replied, "Whatever you are doing, don't do it again. I didn't bother to te...

This is what happened the last time a cone got stuck under my car. http://home.earthlink.net/~k6ccc/Photo/Pics/Photos/CarFire4.jpg But the chances of this happening to you are very slim, like 1 in 12. So I wouldn't worry about it. BTW, I didn't have to rub off and cone marks. And the picture ...

Atlanta Divisional

I spoke to Robert Carpenter today and he mentioned that Atlanta has lost the site they were going to use. I don't think anything has been sent out yet since they are trying to secure another site but you may want to double check the divisional web site before packing your bags. I don't have the link...

The car should be "close" to legal for SM. The only thing you might want to do to be fully legal in SM is put the rear interior back in. You can remove the rear seat but the rest of the stuff is supposed to be there. If there are some other items that may need attention, your competitors p...

Sounds like Kumho is doing the right thing if what I have read on the post is correct. A lot of what you hear on these forums is creative so you have to take it with a grain of salt. As for the picture, I have seen many tires do things similar to this. There are many things that can cause a tire to ...

Terry,I had a blast driving the SS. The car is much more nimble than it's size would have you think. Mark - You are welcome to drive my car during the fun runs at any event. The only disclaimer is that I get to be co-pilot so that I can learn better technique from watching you at work. Terry Be car...
