That BMW event years ago was great. That coarse was huge. They used the entire lot. It was well over a minute. Maybe two. I can't remember

Re: Miata wheel bearings
It was just the nut loose. I will tighten to factory spec and see if that helps.

Miata wheel bearings
My locost uses Miata spindles. I noticed before my first race that 3 of them was loose. I tightened them like I always have and raced that weekend. Then I noticed that one was loose again.
Does anyone know the factory way the right the wheel bearings. I thought I might be missing something. Thanks.

Re: Softening tires
Thanks everyone. A friend of mine just did the wd40 thing. He is running it tomorrow at Bristol. I will see how it does. I am waiting on parts so I won't be running this weekend. I hate to miss the autocross. I need the seat time.

Softening tires
Is there a good way to soften older race tires. I was given a set of drag tires to run on my car. Won't be used for autocross just a few drag runs.

I will probably take it if you can bring it to the next event. Unless you are near the tricities.

Re: Highlands club
They have two lots now. Night ones are at a collage somewhere closer to Asheville. Day ones say training facility. Map shows it right below gatlinburg. No easy way to get there for me but maybe from knoxville area. I would like to run one.

Highlands club
Highlands has a site in franklin NC. Pretty close to knoxville. Not so close to me but I was thinking of running a few of their day races for extra seat time. Anyone else interested
