well, faxed in my entry for the Atl. Nat tour. they have me listed, just with some WRONG info, already sent em a nice email about it. sooo.

I'll be looking for a room to share at the Nat tour. will concider floor space. Also need to get a 2005 rule book. I'll be at the meeting 1st tues of April

doooh!! forgot about the exhausting question.

exhaust must exit behind driver or to the side of the car. Your use of the exhaust exiting into the drivers compartment to keep the driver warm would not be quite legal.

I'm on the fence for the nat tour.... Pilson is trying to talk me into it. It would be good experience at a national level course. wonder how bad I'd get my buttt whooped :? ... only one way to find out 8)

I seen um racin school bus's down at tha local roundy round track running figure 8'ish... they had more than 2 on cource at a time... but then they were also racin crashum up style too :lol:

Yeah, over the past 10+ years from racers. I'd also be willing to bet some of those parts didn't necessarily come from VWs. :lol: Hey.. even the coil overs on the AutoX car are used off a VW.... came off my road race car.. :lol: the aluminum drivers seat is used (freebie sort of) out of Mark Coffin...

just saw this one... feedback from racers, the mechanical heat cycle from TR is not as effective as doing a proper heat cycle on the car. More important for autoX is to scrub the mold release off a new tire. Tire not shiney=no more mold release. Tire needs to get to operating temp, over 140 deg F. t...
