Re: STI Alignment

It almost spun at Chilhowee, but instead it just wiped out all the cones in the bottom.

Re: STI Alignment

Yeah, it's not oversteering to the point I think it will spin. But for a Subaru it oversteers more than I have felt any other Subaru do. Hopefully the good alignment, new tires, a little more low, and seat time will help me reign it in. The two events I did in the car last year as well as dragon run...

Re: STI Alignment

Andrew. ...you have any connections at Walker Automotive? ....they did my alignment by my specs which I got from other camaro solo drivers. I have set front to 1.8 negative camber 0 degree toe caster no change. The rear is half degree negative camber 0 toe. Any more than 2 degrees negative ca...

STI Alignment

I am getting the Forester setup for the season and I am trying to figure out what the best bet for an alignment would be. My options are ~1.5-1.8 negative camber and ~7degrees of caster or 3deg of camber and about 5.5 caster. Which would be my best bet for the front of the car? I can't add more camb...

Re: What do you do to pay for your SCCA habit? (networking)

I manage Walker's Collision Repair in Seymour, soon coming to Farragut as well. We work on everything from door dings to train wrecks. Been doing this for about 7 years now. Its nice having access to an alignment machine and rack. If anyone needs any help with anything crash related let me know. I c...

I am pretty sure I got the last set of 255/40/17 RS3's. Glad I ordered when I did. Learned lesson last year when I missed out on the Rivals

Re: TIRES

Last year I ran the Direzza's in a 245/40/17 on a 17x7.5 wheel. No issues fit great etc.

I ordered this years tires yesterday. 255/40/17 RS3 going on the 17x8 this year. The car is my daily and these will be my only set of tires. So hopefully they will make it through the season.

Re: What class for this monster....

Explain the toe out in the rear. What will this cause? The new car is an oversteering monster, but its hard to control in the slaloms.

ESP, here I come. Come on in the waters fine. :lol2: That being said the grocery getter is going to STM next season due to build plans for the motor. And so much hate on the SUV!!!! I mean just because I can fit a spare set of tires, all my tools, 3 friends, and drive it to the events isn't ...
