Re: TIRES

From TR on the Toyo R1R 200tw info page.
"No changes were made to tire compound or construction, so both 140- and 200-Treadwear-rated tires are compatible with each other when put into service as singles, pairs or in combination."

That's gonna ruffle some feathers, right?

Aren't the Fed RSRs 140TW? or is that in some sizes only?

Can I motion to create a new sub-forum. It can be labeled "Off-Topic" or "Les's Corner" That way we can keep the other sub forums clean but we won't miss out on gems like this.

Re: 1990 CRX HF

Being a HF + engine swap this makes it rough for any autox class right? Or is there some class that allows updating/backdating/model swap where this has a chance?

I would be very interested in this as a daily for the winter but we just bought furniture

A friend of mine is looking for a daily driver for $3500. Reliable, decent gas mileage, easy to maintain.

Her past cars are Kia Rio and a puke green Ford Fiesta.

What's on the market?

I would try to convince her to pick up Rife's car but she doesn't like CRXs :(

Re: shop space / work area wanting to rent

I have space in my home garage. I don't have air tools but I've got the basics. I'm here probably 4 of 5 nights a week and willing to lend a hand. Weekends are hit and miss due to autox and the wife wanting to do things. You're probably looking for a more serious set up but let me know if you want t...
