Glad to hear, Scott. I'm on a FB messenger thread with a bunch of the PGH guys and they were talking about ya, so I figured one of them might offer something up.
Still sucks about the car.

Re: 2021 TT Nationals - NCM
ewwwww.... it's RED.
my eyes!
Nice deal but if it was any color other than red I'd be interested. Also... timing isn't right have to wait until the fall/winter to purchase.

Re: 2021 TT Nationals - NCM
Chris...I'm leaning towards either a Twin for SSC and it's TT counterpart class or an ND2 ( RF to do track stuff though ). That way I can do solo and some TT and not have super huge consumables.

Re: 2021 TT Nationals - NCM
Hope everyone that made it to TTN had a good time. Sounded like a lot of people had various issues and the heat just made it worse.
Re: Event #4
What about doing the 6 runs for each heat and at the end, if there's 'time' have 30-60 mins of fun runs for $1 a run? That way the people that want more time get it and the region brings in a few bucks? I was going to swing by on my way back from PA to say hello, but figured everyone would be packin...

Re: Classing help.
As long as the tires are 200TW or higher you can run in either STM or XSA ( I think XSA is the right one for the STI ). STM is a heads up, run what you brung , class on street tires that the region uses for a catch all for cars that might be over modified for certain classes. SM ( Street Mod ) is a ...

Re: Membership questions
Keith,
Also... when you use a current member as a reference I BELIEVE YOU get a discount and the person that referred you will get a discount on their next renewal ( I think it was $10 ).

Re: New to autocross - Seeking Helmet Advice
I would go to a place like Cycle gear and get ideas for fitments and sizing. All helmet companies vary a little as far as what a large is and so on. As far as open/close... get what you want. It really doesn't matter. If you're NOT planning on moving on to track days, you can get a Snell rated M hel...

Re: Bristol National - what's the final word?
Glad to see that they are moving the Pro registration back just in case things don't work right beforehand. I will likely be in PA for 4-6 weeks by then, so I'll be out for Bristol. I've also decided that I'm calling it for the season in general. Don't want to rely on other people and cars unless I'...

Like Mark said - not worth it for your 1st event. You may come out and hate it... no sense in spending $ on things yet.

Re: Event 3 Questions
Water Sunscreen Hat Snacks when you go to register, tell them it's your 1st time. Have a car number in mind and bring some contrasting tape to make numbers and class letters. Have the numbers and class letters taped onto your car prior to tech please. Everything out of your trunk that can move aroun...

Bristol National - what's the final word?
So... registration will be opening up soon for this thing....
What's the plan for the Pro? are they going to do a match tour type thing? A double champ? Other?
Trying to plan for this and so is my co-driver.

I'm betting they don't want BMS or Thunder Valley in it anywhere.
The city location should'n't be an issue I would think.

Re: Video shoot at Bristol
I would say this is a situation where the phase "any press is good press" does NOT compute for SCCA. If they want visually appealing, there are a LOT of rental groups out there that can rent them some exotics that are not manuals and so on. I'd say MOST of the visually appealing cars that ...
