Spending the money to prep one for SSC and getting out rawed by the same car in lesser prepped DS because of the tire would be no fun to me. Time will tell I guess.

I think these are excellent for road racing (LeMons, etc) so I'd be surprised if they're excellent for autox. They should be excellent for longevity at least. But as long as everyone in the class is on the same tire, what difference does it make? It's a spec class. fun?? I dont think anyone will at...

It is. It's a really nice truck but I want an ecoboost. I'd rather have an individual get a good deal on it than have a big company make a few thousand dollars on it.

I"ve got the name of a guy who repairs them for about $100. You can send the module in and he will test it for free. Also has a lifetime warranty.
