Re: 2013 SCCA Solo Nationals
+1 on that. This will be the 2nd Nationals I've not made since I started (only been going since 07) and I'm not thrilled about it. We ran T/F last year and I got there the Sunady before to watch the Pro and just relax... that was vacation for me :) Lincoln has some fun places to eat and find a cold ...

Re: Co-drive for peru
really good to see evyeone from the region that made it up to Peru. I'm exhausted. Didn't get back to PA until almost midnight as my co-driver had to work 4th heat of the challenge. GREAT weekend for me even though I didn't finish high up. I drove well ( probably the best I have in a long time ) in ...

that is probably the most important autocross related quote I've seen/read this year.thrdeye wrote:Like Curt says....if you're only going to be able to do one autocross all year....make it Nationals.

Re: 2013 SCCA Solo Nationals
not going to be able to make this trip this year. Hope it's fun for everyone.
The only reason I'm doing Peru is the cost of the co-drive is dirt cheap

Re: Co-drive for peru
now that would be a fun weekend. If any of you guys down there have been debating doing a national event, that is a fun one to go to. Nice grippy concrete, usually some great courses and a nice area. I think Strano did it last year and that was one of the BEST Peru courses ever. This is the 2nd car ...

You know,Ikicked myself not doing that, but it was more about correcting my driving habits than the course itself.

Re: Regional 4 Results are up
So, after watching the runs over and over and over..... here's some things I can comment on. As I said before, the course was a blast, but very tough to get right. The "upper" section of the course was busier and really seemed to me to make you focus on patience and car placement over outr...

Re: Regional 4 Results are up
Jeff... you're in SM so you're golden anyway :) BTW... thanks for the offer of the race ramps. Kim was freaking out that I was going to jack the car up without the pucks. I already had the car in the air for the last two tires when she got them, but it was much appreciated. Just like @ national even...

Re: Regional 4 Results are up
You know, after talking to you at the event, I was really bummed I'm not going to nationals this year. I would've offered you a co-drive :) I'm getting videos up and such and will update some thoughts on the runs as I can. Still need to unload the car/trailer. BTW... these A6s just won't die. Who sa...

Re: Hossier A6 at the drag strip
hmmmm I didn't have too bad of luck with mine. Yes they're not as good, but if he's just messing around I don't see the harm. I just threw mine on because I knew my crappy street tires weren't going to be good. I hear the 555rs are a good tire too. I've thought abuot getting a set to mess around wit...

Brian, You are always welcome to drive my car if you like. (I could use a couple of pointers now that I am not running like I used to) We look forward to seeing you. RC hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm that's very interesting. Sooner or later my car will be an SSP car ( hopefully later ), so...

Re: 2001 Celica GT (solo GS)
Let him run SSP in the Vette :eating: I hope you make the event just so we can meet. It would be good to see another C5 Vette runnning. RC Paul & Robert... I actually am going to be in town next weekend, but I haven't planned on bringing the car down. I might see if Kim wants to stop by one of ...

Not sure if I'll be making the events over memorial day, but if I am and have decent tires on, I'll let you know.
