Re: Kosei K1 - $200

These look like a good buy but they won't fit Fords as stated in the ad. Ford is 4 X 108.

Re: Where are the worst drivers around here?

I think the worst drivers are where you happen to be at the time. Yesterday, in the neighborhood I live in, a Comcast van pulled out from a stop sign, driver with cell phone stuck in his ear. He almost took me out because he was preoccupied. I had to lay on the horn like a train coming to an interse...

Re: Saw Oberstwill over the weekend...

Is the 2.8 a Ford motor? I used to have a Capri. The 2.8 in it was quite potent with a stock cam. I used an intake manifold to which a two barrel Weber was a direct bolt on and headers with an Ansa exhaust. I did not change the cam because the oiling system has to be modified for the rocker shafts a...

Re: 26" mountain bike wheels

Chad, I talked to my brother today. He is not interested in your wheels. He doesn't have disc brakes on his bikes. Oh well, it was worth a try. He did say that a lot of people are using bikes in the same age range as your wheels and he thinks that you can sell them pretty easy. Sent from my GT-P6210...

Hey Chad, I will show the photos to my brother. He is interested in this sort of stuff. He is into bicycles big time.

I'd love to have about 20 less years (old) if I can keep the experience (experience is expensive, in years and otherwise, lol).

:lol2:
I would settle for 10 years less old. I plan on running Sunday just to see if I can walk the course.

Re: Which tires

I ran a set of Kumhos on my Focus during the last two spring, summer, fall warm seasons and I agree with everything Aaron said. I just want to add that as they hardened up they became extremely noisy and when I would roll slowly to a stop, I could feel each tread block hit the pavement.

Re: Have we ever had a road rally program?

I ran a few with the Mopar club years ago. They were actually quite fun. One year we got the nickname "Evil 9" driving the old black GTI and continually getting in a race with some guys in a Oldsmochevrouick. Another year we were just "the a-holes" in the obnoxious, loud, black ...

Re: SENNA MOVIE

I watched Senna on Netflix. It is a very well done documentary. It does a really good job of showing the viewer Senna's personality and ambition. I was surprised by the quantity of video of things like interviews, drivers meetings, etc. that exists. One warning: the crash scenes are visceral and ver...

The one time I chaired an event, I enjoyed learning a very important lesson watching Mark pitch 20 or 30 percent of the cones I put on course.

Re: The Official 2011-12 Off Season Plans thread!

Finally got my Kosei K1's for the Focus. I need to strip the lime green paint off of them, and paint them (color yet to be determined). Then I need to decide whether or not to keep them. Did you get the green ones that were for sale on Focaljet? Lime green wheels would definitely be painful to look...

Yes. The 70's era porno music intro and the performance sound of an angry swarm of yellow jackets is not appealing to me... and I just couldn't understand a thing that the narrator was saying. I got almost halfway through it with the "mute" function enabled though. :D You know what...
