I don't recommend seriously drag racing unless you can put an STi gearset in it. I have heard going to 1st is a NO-NO. what are the other problems with the trannies? Davd used to tear out the output yoke on the Talon regularly, why he sold that one. It's been 10 years since subby manual transmision...

On the 2900 lbs 98 Jetta, 8” x2.5” diam, 275#front, 350#rear with a stock front bar, and decent sized rear bar (can’t find the diam and ground is soaked) Those rates may be a bit too stiff for daily driving on a lighter Rabbit. The Neuspeed progressive springs originally on my old daily driver Sciro...

The rates in my 98 Jetta might be too much for a light 83 Rabbit unless you are gonna road race the Rabbit. I'll have to double check spring rates at the house. also, how much you planing on driving the Rabbit on them lovely NJ roads? I know them, I've driven there. Hopalong Vischer with shocks??!!!...

A "minute possibilty" of losing a $2000 set of wheels is still an appreciable risk. Dang dude, your rims cost almost as much as my whole SM Scirocco. I admit Terry's cheby bolt patern rims would be more desirable in that neck o tha whoods. Does Adesa have any kind of video surveilla...

I'm going to try and find a co-drive with someone in a Nationally prepared MINI and just pay their entry fee. I prefer to save my own tires. :D but Curt, you need to find out how your car stacks up to them nationaly prepped cars. WB would be a bad place for that... I say you need a codriver to spli...
