Thanks for the offer, Trey. I'll probably wait until the event to make any decisions. I might have a car together by then but it's a long shot.

Solo II 2005

I just thought I would go ahead and spill the beans on this so everyone can get started on planning. We had a Solo Committee Meeting on Tuesday night and have a tentative schedule. I'll leave it to Mr. Disney to post it but I thought you might want to know about the first event of the year. This is ...

Re: I need a list of TECH INSPECTION TEAM for '05 Season

Tony Bolton Tech Idiot. :) Sounds like a new sig to me! Seriously, though. I know there are a lot of people that intend to run almost all of the events and this is a good job for anyone that doesn't mind getting there a little early. Tony will provide training. All you need is a basic underst...

come on Tony... try a FWD... I wanna hear ya scream "How do you make it TURN????"    Actually, most people probably don't remember Tony's supercharged Integra. Usually, when driving that car, he was screaming, "How do you make the back end stay behind the front?&...

Question for the National guys: Does one have to send seperate forms for the ProSolo and NT in Atlanta, or can you just check both boxes on the same form and send payment for both together? Check all the boxes you want to attend on the same form. I do that at the beginning of the season every year....

Damn........after reviewing and calculating up last years results, even if I were granted an ESP pass, I'd still be smoked by the PRO PAX'ers. I guess I do suck. :( I'd be inclined ot let you slide in ESP for Pro class as the car was prepped last year. You might have a few things done that aren't E...

Re: Atlanta SCCA - Little Talladega - Aug 27th, 28th 2005

I also noticed on their site an event described as a Mirrorkhana. I betcha that it's a ProSolo style event. A Mirrorkhana is a little different from a Pro Solo. It is my understanding that a Mirrorkhana uses one course with two cars competing at the same time. You have two start/finish lines at opp...

Does the dragon really help with autox? I think it can. It is a very good place to work on hand positioning and possibly left foot braking. Keep in mind that you don't have to go fast to work on the correct hand positioning in the turns. Actually, it might be better if you went a little slower than...

No, that's your car. The tires are supposed to be kept in the freezer so they don't "spoil". :P

In my opinion, I think the heat cycle put on by driving them is better than the Tire Rack deal. Just put them on the car, go find an empty parking lot, and do figure 8's. Just do enough to get some heat in them (warm to the touch). Take them off the car and bag them.

Other recipies may vary.
