Do they still make these? Does anyone know how much they run these days? I'm not a mazdaspeed member, and I won't be in the near future considering my car is broken, or I'd check myself. Thanks!

Got a line on a VVT motor through one of the forums with good leakdown numbers and 103k on it for $750, plus he has the fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, etc to drop it into a 97. My new used engine from classic investments is knocking about 8 months later.

Rather than drop another used one in, I'd like to try to get it competently rebuilt with forged rods this time. Does anyone know anyone who is good at this?

Ted, I haven't, but I don't think that's it. The high side stays right at about 150 and doesn't go up hardly at all when I add refrigerant. If I had a leak big enough to do that, I wouldn't expect it to hold any refrigerant, and if I had a leak small enough to stop leaking at 150, I would expect the...
