Re: Barber this weekend ...... anyone interested in crewing

Thanks Jonathan,
Look forward to meeting you at Barber. Looks like we have engineering as a common background. Recently retired from Boeing after ~ 30 years on multiple programs. See you there. Bet we can find something to talk about.
Regards, Joe

Re: 2013 SCCA RallyCross National Challenge and SEDiv C-ship

Anyone from west knox headed to this event that would be willing to transport a set of unmounted 17" tires for slowautoxr (Charles from Decatur AL). He has agreed to purchase these but has no other reason to head this far north from the event. I'm sure he would appreciate.......Thanx, Joe

Re: Glad to see this topic a category!

Don't see any reason it wouldn't be OK...we have VDCA(Vintage Drivers Club of America), NASA, PCA, BMWCCA and other sanction bodies represented. I also think the PDX as a transition series would be a good match. A few years ago at VIR there was a combined SARRC / ECR / PDX with the PDX slipped into ...

Re: Marsh racing wheels pics added

Chad, What are you looking to get for them. I could possibly make rain fronts for my sports racer. Normally 8's & 10's for slicks, but with a redrill to my pattern......maybe. Best regards, Joe

Re: Hi, I'm new here.

George, looks like D Prepared on slicks with a 1760 # MIN (1600cc X 1.1 disp/weight factor). Also, if I understand the Street Tire Unlimmited class (STU), you could wear 140 or greater tread wear DOT's with ANY MODIFICATION. Still relearning the "new" rules my own self.......
