Hi yellowef8, thanks for the words of encouragement. For the record, I don't normally drive that fast, but I had this C5 Vette pushing me to go faster !! . Glad you made it out and had a good time. But it's a ton more fun when you get to drive.

I had a blast! Loved everything about yesterday's event. Any chance of changing one of the Taylor-White events to the Meco site? Much easier on the tires... Thanks to everyone who put it on!

I'm planning on going to Meco... If you follow me up, can I put i tire in your trunk? It's always nice to have some water or gatorade for the day too, and don't forget the sunscreen... At Taylor-White I must have reapplied 4 times and still got burnt, but well worth it :D...

hehe, ya, for some reason he does not see it that way at all. Sadly I'm afraid I can picture the car he will be driving when he is 17/18 :( ... I wonder if there's something I can add to his food to "fix" him???

My step-son (12yrs old) does not understand why I don't get a black hood, huge aluminum wing, vinyls... oh and huge (20inch) chrome wheels too. What do you guys think?

I recently bought some wheels off ebay, they were painted gold... I spent all night before race day with paint stripper to remove it!! Not that my Honda would look bad with gold wheels  ... hey! Do I hear hints of jealousy from the NON Honda drivers :)

I have the BF Goodrich G-Force KDs on my S2K, they are substancially better than the Dunlop tires I took off. I raced with those tires for about 6 autocrosses, and normal daily driving, got 8K miles on them, and other than the outside scrubbing :) , the tread still looks great. Now I switch wheels b...

I agree with everyone, it was a great event. It did not feel like a 90+ drivers day, everything seemed very smooth and well thought out. I would like to specifically thank Mack for taken his time to teach me how to drive, now if can only remember it until next month :(
