Re: ***Junior Kart Program 2016 Season***

You asked, so grab a chair. I've been involved with karting for 7 years now. I switched to a kart when my oldest, Kieran, wanted to start karting and we planned on starting in 2009 when he was six and the Philly Region was adopting the 5-7 yr old pilot program for him and one other child. Both kids ...

Roadmaster Active Suspension - F250 and Excursion

Hey guys, I sold my huge trailer so I have no need for this helper spring system on my Excursion any more. I removed it from the truck today so it's available now. Details on the Roadmaster website, www.activesuspension.com : model #3611. The quick summary is that this system installed on the leaf s...

Re: Atlanta this weekend

We used to run that sort of schedule in Philly when we had 225+ drivers. Nice for competitors, but hell on the chiefs who had to be there all day running everything. And only half the folks available to clean up. Looks like a fun course. Congrats on doing well on that last run, DeWitt.

Re: Why don't we have more elements focused solely on car control?

The reason LeMons, Chump, AER, and WRL exist is to give more fun for the money than SCCA and NASA Club racing. I've driven in three of those now and love every minute. I also love autox for the different nature of the beast - learn quickly, drive perfectly, different every time, much more socializin...

Re: Tri-Cities Potential Spots

Unfortunately that lot is pretty small for autocross and the light islands make it effectively too small. I seriously considered buying that building to setup a rental kart business, but the outside lot needed a lot of work - and then 2nd Harvest bought it.

Nord-lock washers? McMaster-Carr has them. I use them on our karts with excellent success.

Re: *SNELL CERTIFIED HELMETS OCTOBER 2015*

Also keep in mind that the M2015 helmets are already available, though not many of them yet. Even so I think it's best to continue to honor the M2000 helmets until the end of the year.

Re: Bowling Green Match Tour

Pros are pretty great. But I'll take the 2+ hours of seat time in the LeMons race over a Pro every time. Math tours don't enter my field of vision, but that is based on their first try where I won my class then waited for more than 24 hours to run again. They're probably better now, but I'd be in Bl...

Re: April 26th event

If grid is set up before the driver's mtg, it should be possible to get cars in there earlier. Might save some valuable early morning time.

Agree with Rife here - Tire Rack is a great partner for SCCA Solo and I used to proudly display the logo even on my truck windshield. Hard to do better on tires they carry because they can set the prices so well...
