Re: RallyX Facebook Page

Bump--

I'm seeing that a lot of people aren't able to get information on rallyX through Facebook because the events are set to private. It's still a personal page, too.

Re: ETR Event #8

I thought the course was fresh and challenging. I enjoyed it a lot.

I think the STM results are incorrect, unless Cody is pulling my leg about the 47.9. That may be a timing error.

Re: Solo at th' Pilli...

I had a lot of fun. The course was probably a bit biased on Sunday, but I'd enjoy doing more of those, honestly. Congrats to Cody for a solid win and top 5 raw time!

Re: reverse Bristol race video, violet m3

Www.bmaparts.com has super cheap OPP parts rotors. They've been working well for me. I think it's like $120 for a full set for an e36m.

Re: Takata Air Bags

Takata is at least planning on releasing recall parts to rectify the situation at some point in the future. I suspect they'll be out of business before all is said and done. Still no word on what the emissions "fix" for VW diesels North America will be. Also no more media coverage--out of ...

Re: best dyno services in Eastern TN or Central KY

If you're just wanting to strap onto a dyno and get a number, it doesn't really matter who does it in my opinion. Dynojets tend to read higher....high velocity has one. Mustangs trend to read lower, that's LNS. Not sure where Fastech and their Dyno Dynamics would fall.

I'd recommend Fastech if you don't need tuning. They're pretty sharp dudes down there.

Re: Wilmington Spring ProSolo Thread

If you've got a laptop, just ask Cody Yankey to find the setting to lock timing at 10. I'm sure he won't mind, and it'll only take 5 minutes.

Re: Wilmington Spring ProSolo Thread

Lock at 10*, set the base timing, let the timing map do the rest. You can compensate with the CAS (on 1.8s, not sure about 1.6s) or with the base timing in the tune. If your timing map isn't 10* at idle, and it probably isn't, putting it "back where it was" is just a guessing game. I can h...

Re: Wilmington Spring ProSolo Thread

There is a setting where you can lock timing at 10 degrees advance and adjust with a timing light. Where this menu is depends on which version of ms you have.

You can also just set the timing map to 10 everywhere, but that's more of a pain.
