Re: ADESA - DRIVING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE 2012 - OFFICIAL THR
It was good to finally get to drive my car again after it has sit for so long on jackstands in pieces. Nothing fell off and it ran decent so I accomplished what I set out to do. Still some minor issues to sort out on it and still needs the ride height and allignment set on it. I wanted to adjust my ...

Re: Multiple Driver for Adesa question
Hope to see you guys there... I went to Tech about 6 years ago and always admired the FSAE team and how well they did with the car each year.

Just reviving this... Chris, I don't have any names other than what Scott posted before on the school. But if you guys are still looking into this one, including maybe a street survival type of thing might get it some positive reaction from the school board. There isn't any autox action in this area...

Re: UW/Adesa Ride-a-long drivers
If anyone has an extra seat and an extra set of belts, we could throw it in my car and I can give some ride-a-longs.

Trying to get the vette ready to make a few shakedown runs. It won't be pretty, but hopefully I can get everything done on it next Friday afternoon and load up to leave out Saturday morning. Wish I had a passenger seat in the car as I wouldn't mind taking a few riders along with me.

Re: Corvette Advice
If I get another street legal vette, it will stay within the rules of SS. When me and Eric ran ASP (now SSP), we were so underprepped for the class. Now to decide on a C5Z or a C6 Z51.

I had Koni 3013's on my vette and used them all of 2010 and 2011 in all my races. Never had to touch them and no problems. Don't know why you guys are having such a hard time.

This is a 2002 Pace Ralleye 28ft trailer with the front 8ft converted to comfortable living quarters, leaving 20ft of car space. The living quarters was designed and built like a travel trailer. The walls and ceiling are insulated. A RV power converter is installed that supplies separate 110v circui...

Re: Corvette Advice
Yeah, what's the downside to a C5Z? For autocross... there isn't much downside to one IMO. The Z06 has great gearing for autox. 2nd gear is just about perfect for most places. Tires seem to last well on them... I had over 100 runs on my tires when I autocross my old 02 Z06 and still had decent life...

FS: 315/35-17 Hoosier A6's
I have a set of Hoosier A6's that have 4-5 heat cycles on them. I'll take $450 for them and can meet anyone in the area close to Oak Ridge or Knoxville during the week since I work in Oak Ridge. I'll check the date on the tires, but I got them new last year.

Why hasn't anyone said this yet? Why not a miata?! Come to the dark-side!!!!!! :fight: or..... rainbow-side whichever  I've thought about renting a Spec E30 once a year just to keep my Nasa license current. Re: Project ST2 Rebuild
8) I'm going to start out racing there and just see how good I am. You'll have better car control than 99% of the rest of the pack, you're plenty good enough. Hard part is recognizing where NOT to put the car, and sticking to it. While it also would be nice to run every weekend. Heh, careful what yo...
