Re: Tech workers
I have 2 people working tech so far (Thanks Kristo and Lucas!) Looking for a couple more that would be interested. Bear in mind that this assignment tends to limit the number of course walks you get to do. Thanks, Paul These are 2 of the fastest guys out there. It also gives you a chance to sabotag...

Re: Rust in iron engine block.
I personally would be afraid that I wouldn't be able to get it all out. When I use it I pressure wash the parts immediately and then treat with with iron phosphate because it will flash rust. I don't know what neutralizes it. If you know of something that will definitely neutralize it then it might ...

Re: Rust in iron engine block.
Muriatic acid definitely cleans rust but it also eats up cast iron, aluminum, zinc and probably other metals pretty quickly. It will eat up steel too but takes a little longer. I wouldn't use that.

Re: ETR #1 Course Designer
Just to keep every thing on the same level lets just do it as the first on site and bitch about it while we are building it.Then we can change it and have a piss fit as to why we did what we did. Then every thing else is delayed and we keep going on with our day. And keep bitching about a Mustang-v...

Re: ABS unit unplug
If you don't plan on going back to ABS I would ditch the unit. This guy http://prbmachining-absdeletemanifolds.com/ makes a delete manifold and I think it drops about 15 lbs off the front of the car.

Hook a plow to the back of them and tell them they are broken down tractors. They can't touch your agricultural equipment.

The scrap yard isn't supposed to take them without a title.

Re: 2017 ETR NOVICE CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP
Taylor sending you email shortly you are a clear case of what is NOT a novice based on your passed experience. And I'm perfectly OK with that. I get to challenge Coatney this year in CAM. Larson was the man to beat last year. This year could be anybody's. It's going to be a big class this y...

Re: Trailer question
I showed that exact add to someone else recently. I don't know how they can build them at that price. The few that I built I had that much in material. There is the NATM (National Association of Trailer Manufacturers) that some manufacturers pay to be in. They have to be built to specific guidelines...

Re: Trailer question
Blueprints call for 4 inch channel on 7k GVWR and 5 inch on 10k. Can't hurt to have 5 inch but I wouldn't want haul the extra weight around. Tubing rusts from the inside out so you don't know you have a problem until it's too late. Most new trailers are built pretty poorly so you should check it out...
