Hey Terry! I bought a trailer for hauling around to drag races last summer. It was already "built up" with all these extras, but I think the trailer may be the same as the one your starting with... http://home.comcast.net/~rmulig/labor2004/Labor001.JPG http://home.comcast.net/~rmulig/labo...

I don't have a dog in this fight but I would suggest that you guys bump to CP if you have things done that exceed CP. That way, you don't have to worry about having someone ask you guys to move half way through the season. CP is going to cover so many allowances that if you have something done that...

What I would like to see is a sort of gentlemen's agreement locally where those of us with gear swaps agree that we all have gear swaps and run ESP anyway. I'm game if you want to throw SFCs in the list as well. Nothing against the rally cars, but it would be cool if we had sort of a 'muscle car' s...

SM for me again this year. I'm considering CP, but it depends on when I get some better tires. Run SM. One or two car class get old fairly quick. If SM is as competitive as it was last year, I'll more than likely stay. The only hang up is I am still waiting on my tax information so I can see what I...

Sports Car GT is a good one, and can be found cheaply on ebay. There is a real good mod community built around it, (I have 50+ tracks installed on hard drive). Plus, it is fairly old so it will run on a slow computer.

Steve, We could also have a bit of a "gentleman's agreement" as it were. My car is in SM b/c of subframe connectors, the rest of my mods are fairly minor (and ESP legal). If you and anyone else who plans to run it, I'd be happy to join you all in ESP next year. How about LeadSSled? He has ...

Membership Questions

Hey guys, Since I had such a good time this year, I thought I would go ahead and join the SCCA. I do have a few questions, however. On the SCCA website it quotes the membership fee as being $70 while the form I downloaded states $55. Which is correct? The website also states that the ETR dues are $1...

I'm out until March. Finals are on the horizon, and as much as I am dying to go racing, school takes priority. Get some good Modena pictures!

Home Island?

Here is an idea: How about Home Island Airport? Its a private airfield across the river from Downtown Knoxville. Has anyone ever talked to them about 'renting' part of the airstrip for an event? Just my .02.
