The only place I would suggest is Koni. Lee Grimes is the guy to talk to there. They did my struts and Robert Carpenter's. I think they also did Mark McCrary's but I'm not sure. I have heard of and personally seen at least one screwed up job from other rebuilders.

Dear Lord, Please save the life of my race tires...Let them gaze upon the pavement of one more season. Give my Suby the strength and testicular fortitude to handle the mighty Mark and his evil, wicked and yet grinning all the while driving ways.....Amen And your other co-driver would be? :wi...

There have been a lot of good points made so far so I won't bother to repeat them. The biggest thing for me is the feeling when you nail a section of the course (or the whole course for that matter) and go faster than you thought you could go. For example, the feeling of dancing the car through the ...

It sounds to me like you would probably be ok. However, you should be sure to check sections 4 and 5D to be sure you are in compliance on those issues. They are easily overlooked with any aftermarket shocks. Don't assume they are correct!

Hmm, that would require a detailed reading of the rulebook. I know that if doing this is authorized by the factory, then it's not a problem. It could be a problem depending on the wording in the rulebook. Maybe Scott can chime in with applicable sections of text since I don't have the rulebook with ...

that T-bone that almost happend was due to a boneheaded driver behind the wheel. that guy tried to save the car but in the process went on the other side of the course. when in a spin. but BOTH FEET IN. do NOT try to save it. you've already lost a lot of time, just give up on that run and try again...

I thought it was a good event. Lots of free stuff and got to talk a good bit to Tim Duff, Tim Rogers, and Doug Burgess (parts manager). They were even offering discounts on performance parts while we were there.

Oh yeah, new Legacy 2.5GT wagon, :D   (just ask gbwrx)
