Shifter karts are fast and a whole different learning curve to everything else I've driven. Big thanks to Jason for the co-drive. I'm glad I didn't get raw timed by a street car. Shifting while driving one handed is kind of hard to coordinate.

Where are the rules for this at?

Only 36 registered?! Can't believe so many folks are opting out of the chance to win money doing what we love. My money is on Dan W in his Tag kart or Jed in HS. Maybe Pilson in the Fucus. Slow and steady wins this race. I delaminated my miata tires at the last event. I probably would've signed up ...

I had my kuhmo tires finally delaminate at this event. I'll probably not make it to anymore smokies/adessa events.

I'll be up in Toledo. Should be a good time.

Somehow I think miatas care about extra weight a bit differently than corvettes.

I would also greatly appreciate a set of tires being hauled by someone.

I think the 12th will work better for me. Time either ~10am or ~6pm. Preferably at a location more east & close to I40 to cut down on my driving time.

How many runs and street miles are on them?

Learning to do your own alignments isn't that bad, especially if you start marking cam bolt positions with a dent that can't wash off. I didn't get any big bumps at the bristol site, but my miata has tire bottoming out in a couple places at smokies stadium.
