Re: Sound Report, Chilhowee 8/7/11
Sound policies are sucky, but necessary. I mean we all know when a car is annoyingly loud, problem is, sometimes the db meter doesn't agree with your ear. Some cars that sound awesome , end up being too loud. However, if we were arbitrary about it, someone would really get mad because it would just...

Re: Sound Report, Chilhowee 8/7/11
Well, with a variation of that magnitude on the official sound meter it just doesn't make sense to me. I guess it's something to tell whoever complains about noise levels that "we have a device that monitors sound" to show that there is an effort being made to enforce it, but other that it...

So what is the point of even having a meter there?TedV wrote:because there are umpteen million variables that go into producing sound and how it gets transmitted and perceived.

How is it possible to go from nearly 105db's to under 90? Was the exhaust system R&R'd to aid in dropping 15+ db's?TedV wrote:EM 183.. 104.5, 93.2, under 90, under 90

Dentist said it has and I plan to try and do some mild whitening later on. I never was much of a fast food eater, but i'd say the Dr. Peppers took a HUUUUUGE chunk ouf "unhealthy" out of my diet. I think the cans are like 150 calories each. 1500 calories a day from DRINKS................ o...

Re: OT- I've lost 10lbs. since last Sun
Good to see people taking more of an interest in their overall health. It really makes you feel great in the big picture. Being a previous fatty at 245lbs, you've just got to use a system that works for you. I chose the P90X route and lost over 60lbs in about 6 or so months...and this was without ki...

I'm sure Bradley knows the Elise is better for autocross...but coming from the "not really concerned about autocross class" mindset, the GTR would be worlds more fun.

Try to rationalize it because it's a "safer" car with AWD. I do that with my Jeep because it's "4wd".

If you look close at all my calipers they're actually red. That lasted about 2 track events and they burnt off back to dark grey/black again. I said F-it.

I had thought of this a few years ago, but got discouraged when I started added up all the negatives.
Hope it works out for you, I completed the survey.
