Thanks to everyone that tried to make the event work. In hind sight the two day event was a noble but unrealistic idea. I will contact the locals and try to cut pr losses.

I saw it and was a good race except for the dumb move by Vettel.

I know of two drivers that will be there but will not be signing up on line. They are novice.

FYI for those coming to Elizabethton. 24 miles from Elizabethton is a mini version of the Dragon, its called The Snake. Once at the Country Store in Shady Valley one can drive 421 to Mountain City. A web site to check out is www.shadyvalleycountrystore.com.

Is there a way for a first timer to sign up on line for the Covered Bridge Class? Or do they just show up and sign up on site?

FYI to anyone who might have a interest. In downtown Elizabethton Sat. June 5 from 5-9 pm there is a car show. There are usually 70-100 cars.

I agree that its is over priced. Hers is a non s. I saw one on ebm for around 11k. I know the condition which is great and if one could get it for a fair price it would be a good car.

Americourt is the one that I posted. The only reason that I posted that one is that the owner is a client. I have never seen the rooms or know any one that stayed there. There is a motel that is closer its only about 2 blocks from the sight. I Live about 2 miles from EHS, let me know what I can do. ...

Spoke with the motel people. They have 6 rooms left as at Monday 8:20 am. The group rate is $59.95. They are about 3 miles from EHS. Their phone # is 423-542-4466. Tell them you are part of the SCCA group. I can not advise regarding room conditions or quality.

I can check with the owner of one motel in Elizabethton and see if he is willing to give a group discount. I will see if he is in Monday and post my findings as soon as I get a reply. The one factor that may hurt is this is the Covered Bridge days week.

I see in the rules it is ASP, but I do not understand why an Elise with a added SC is put in SSM with the same suspension, same sc, seems like it would be fair to be in SSM for the Exige? Does any one know the reason for the difference?

Thanks, I think they will be at the EHS event and one possibly at ps #3.

I know one guy only has motor mounts changed. The other has changed the air tubes going to his inter-cooler and also changed the motor mounts. I do not think either has done any thing major.
