Re: Veloce Top Times

I dont understand how they're staying so busy, the karts are garbage now - massive understeer and nearly a second slower than they were when they opened, and the management/employees are not the sharpest tools in the shed. I haven't been in a while.

Re: E36 m3 exhaust help

re-used a y-pipe section from the old exhaust, which connects the headers to the rest of the exhaust, and had them weld up cheap new aluminized tubing with a muffler at the back.

Re: E36 m3 exhaust help

FWIW I had Kar Kare in fountain city weld up a 3" exhaust for my E36M3 racecar years ago - worked great until the welds on the hangers broke and it dropped onto the deck on track

Re: Veloce Top Times

I talked to the kid who seems to kind of run the show - said they've gotten quotes to have the concrete smoothed out. Most of the karts I've driven seemed okay, but I was in #05 in race one last night and I was over a half second off my usual pace... kart was rattling, had no grip, front left tire w...

Re: Winter Autox Events

is the Chatt event at the mall? It's an easy enough drive and the courses aren't bad most of the time - worth going to if the weather is good.

6.5 hours is a little further than I'll go for local events, but thanks for the info on wiregrass.

Re: Veloce Top Times

Being a solid rear axle, karts actually depend on lifting the inside rear tire to rotate, so I'd say the big fellas probably have even more chassis binding/hopping. FWIW Ive noticed hopping on most of my fast laps, seems to happen when the tires finally build some heat. Im down to a 24.877 after 9 r...
