I'm still running the stock 1998 springs & shocks with DRs and I havn't had a problem.

I wasn't at the event, but I just looked at the results and there were several cars that didn't run - including Jon Coatney in the Mazdaspeed Miata.

I would say you have two options. 1.) Buy an energy suspension sway bar bushing - they are cheap 2.) Place a small piece fo steel between the current bracket and the bolt head/washer connection.
