Re: Car transport ideas?

IMO it's better to accept the car in person. I just don't trust the car transport companies with seemingly old and cheap cars. Also, hard/impossible to fit the spares without tearing the interior up. The cheapest and quickest way alone is to drive down in the Nissan with borrowed trailer / rent u ha...

FS: set of 245/40/17 Hankook RS3v2

For sale four 245/40/17 Hankook RS3v2. They have about 35 runs and 1500 miles, on a well cambered car; basically scrubbed in. Bought them new 09/2014. Always stored at room temperature, when it's been < 35 degrees outside. Price: $350 http://i1052.photobucket.com/albums/s453/sd1101/DSC_0222_zps12bxr...

Re: TODAYS MEETING

The second and third hand info I've read, puts the Rival S on the same level with the RE-71. "It seems" the Rival S doesn't like the colder temps, but who really knows, they just came out. In the past it was said how the R1R was unusable in the heat and in my experience it was complete exa...

Yeah I'm out on early tech also. I would have to leave way too early from work to do this.

Re: What now?

Pretty Much. The other side to that is, how big of a difference theTRD stuff makes. They still have narrow wheels and no camber.

Perception is everything though, so I expect the National competitors migrate to FR-S.

Re: Bowling Green Match Tour

Yeah, I'm not saying Match Tour format or NCM site sucks. If it wasn't for Blytheville Prosolo that weekend, I would be at BG. IMO ProSolo at a big site is just so much more exciting. And any national newbies from our region could get all the event pointers and help from me* or other ETR people at t...

Re: Bowling Green Match Tour

You guys are nuts for picking the Bowling Green over Blytheville. BG is a very good local site, Blytheville is a truly national site, with some of the fastest speeds in solo.

Re: What now?

In the original for sale ad by Ruggles, he said that the engine is still under warranty by Mazda and if the compression test would come back low, they would replace it. Is that warranty expired? Maybe PM Ruggles directly if the current owner is too proud to answer questions.

Re: What now?

So are he buyers knocking on that RX-8 sellers door or is he just lazy? I don't get the compression check holdup.
