Re: 6/23 Bristol Epilogue
The winning BMW was also driven by someone named Heicotter, which is a bit of an outlier He beat the winning STU M3 time on one of the two courses, also driven by an outlier heh.

Re: 6/23 Bristol Epilogue
Really enjoyed the event, it was nice to have the Bristol event before I move from Johnson City to Knoxville and the course was mostly awesome, especially the fast slaloms :) Here's my fastest run at 79.8 (I left a good bit of time on the front end of the video because Jed's burnout launch is so awe...

Re: Brand new Regional #5 post event thread (the fun stuff!)
It was a fun course, but even more fun than the course itself was having new tires! I preach all day long to the novices that tires make or break the car, and I was running on super dead Dunlop Z1's. The Rivals transformed the car completely! I felt like my times were much closer to where they shoul...

Re: Regional #5
Danny, it was good meeting you Sunday, I hate I didn't actually get to ride on any runs with you but hopefully I'll have a chance to hop in and give you some pointers next time you're at an event! Regardless, it was nice to have a dry spot to hang out in grid during the showers :) Don't worry about ...

Re: Regional 4 Results are up
Zee M3 is made for zee big manly Germans, not like zee small dainty Honda! :) It was definitely a fun event, and as always I like having a codriver, you're welcome to join me anytime! New BFG Rivals will be installed tomorrow, and I hope to get the car corner balanced properly next Monday. I feel li...

I found a twist for the event I'm chairing!
This could make things a bit more challenging: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_B0jVM57vUE Don't worry Scott, I've already got orange chainmail picked out to replace the usual orange vests for the course workers  Seriously looks like fun though, and the pointer cone/s...

Re: Mini Event this Saturday at WBHS
Scott, I'll be attending and can run registration and help with setup. I have a friend's wedding to attend at 5:30PM on Saturday in Johnson City so I'll need to leave at noon or my own marriage may be in danger ;) Even if we can't make it work for me to run in the morning, I'll show up and help out,...

Re: Great event today!
I think it was a tough course for novices, but aren't they all? :) For the more experienced folks, I felt like the course did a great job of a new layout for a challenging lot! I liked the offsets at the bottom of the hill, wish we had room to do more of those. The full speed huge offset slaloms the...

Re: Looking for a ride for 4/14 event
Cathers was going to co-drive my M3 but had to cancel so my co-drive is open as well. The Celica's closer to what you usually drive, but let me know if you want to try something very different and closer to that Mustang STX build you're thinking about

Re: April 14 Event
I'll be at ZMax as well. I'm planning on going down early and spending a few days with my folks in Charlotte. If anyone is going to be down early enough Friday night and wants to hit the awesome karts at Victory Lane, let me know...they're open until midnight on Friday night, although I don't want t...

Re: The Official "Ima goin ta Dixie" thread.
What a fun first national event! I guess the format was a bit weird for you guys, but having 4 runs was great for me (aside from blowing the 4th run with leaving traction control on...aargh!) as a new driver. I ended up being 3rd out of 4 in the class, so not last woot! Does anyone know who the phot...

Re: Regional #1
John's data pretty much jives with what I've read elsewhere...the BFG's are amazing on heavier cars but "meh" on lighter stuff. I think I'll be getting a set after the Dunlop Z1's on the M3 wear out, probably after the Evo school for me and Dixie for both me and Jed, heh. Had a great time ...

Re: cant bleeve I did this...
I'm thinking about swapping from the Dunlops to these after the set of Z1's I have on the M3 wear out...not that I think it's super likely or anything, but it would suck to win something and not have any contingency. I've heard the BFG's are very forgiving too, which would probably work well for me ...
