Re: Dixie National... the Official Thread.
drew is pretty dang good at it, being able to enter a slalom almost perfectly and doing the 3>2 on entry very early on the day 1 course. That was some very impressive shifting. At first I thought the audio wasn't in sync since I didn't even notice a change in posture or steering angle but you could...

Jzilla track event October 22, 2017 at Atlanta Motorsport Park.
Super short notice but there seems to still be some spots available for the Jzilla track event at AMP. Cost is $215 for 6-7 sessions (I can't remember exactly). It's close to the cheapest cost given the track time one can find. There are a few of us going down on Saturday the 21st and camping to get...

Re: Solo Storm tablet
Oh that's interesting. You can find cheap tablets on CL all the time. I was going to just use my RAM static mount and get their table X-grip to hold it. I think that would be easy button and work with all my other RAM accessories.

1.6L Turbo Miata manifold, downpipe and exhaust
I recently decided to go another route with my turbo setup and need to sell off my original stuff. It has served me well for the past 3 years and was a great entry setup. My new setup requires new components so these are not gonna work for me anymore. I'd sell it to someone on here for $400. That's ...

Re: Split Screen Video
I'm really surprised someone hasn't figured out how to emulate OBD/CANBUS output on the Megasquirts. There are options, from Aim type dases to bluetooth tablets. The problem is getting the data to overlay properly with your action cam. I have not seen many successfully do it, but, that could possib...

Re: Split Screen Video
I wish I could overlay some Megasquirt datalogs or something. No OBD stuff for me, unfortunately.

Re: Split Screen Video
Ah, the watermark from his video. I assumed he just used that for split screen since it had no sound. I'll give it a try and watch some tutorials.

Re: Split Screen Video
I just have a standard Hero3 and it stabilizes my video pretty well. This is last years event at Smokies but it makes the bumps seem rather...meh. I forgot to grab it before the event on Sunday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gj4GU--aDaY I have been looking into a 4 silver for awhile now, mo...

Re: Split Screen Video
It's strange how much more stable Dave's Hero3+ is but how much more clear the Hero4 is. I can read the time on the Hero4 footage but can't read it at all on the 3+. May have to do with the time of day, though. I don't remember if PRO and CAM ran at the same time.
Re: racing
Hello everyone. I've been out of racing for a few years. Was going to check the schedule, and see if I could find a race. I didn't see anything at Pellissippi College. Are we not racing there anymore? Is there anything closer and sooner than Bristol? There is one at the end of this month at Smokies...
