Re: WTB: 6.5 Diesel Exhaust Manifold

I am having no luck finding one of these, so if anyone knows where a parts truck/engine is let me know. I need one for the drivers side. Can be from a turbo or non turbo truck 1995 and older. Needs to be from a truck. The vans and hummers used a different manifold. Try these: http://www.ssdieselsup...

Re: My race weekend... good, bad and ugly. lol

NIce job, John. Sorry about the breakage. :( My wife's brother lives up there on the southwest side of Charles Town. It is maybe 10 minutes tops to the Summit Point track. My wife's cousin has been working at that track since the 70's when Paul Newman drove there. I've been talking about dragging my...

Re: I just noticed...

Just FYI - Saturday 9/24 is the same day as the Run to The Hills VII Autocross at Smokies Stadium. Not that these events cater to the same clientel, but there will be 2 autocross events in the area on the same day.

Awesome. Lenoir City is very convenient for me too. I'll look them up and give them a call. Thanks!

Trailer repair/rewire?

Does anybody know of (reputable) someone in the area that works on trailers? I have an 18-foot dovetail open car trailer with full steel deck that I purchased from Rob Carpenter about 5 years ago. It is structurally sound and I completely rebuilt the brakes less than 1000 miles ago, but it needs som...

Re: Everyone Stay Safe!

I live in far southwest Knox County - south of Farragut near Northshore and Choto Roads. It was rough here last night. We had golf ball sized hail... twice and went downstairs for safety twice. Our power was out from about 8:15 last night until 5:30 this morning, so we had no news to watch for most ...

Re: I think we have a problem...

That said, timing, grid, worker jerk, and possibly others don't require a 7am show up time. I only saw a thread for "course setup workers" and thread for "Registration and timing". Did I miss a thread on the others? I would be happy to do any of the other jobs that don't require...

Re: I think we have a problem...

Mark, I understand your comments and don't think they should make anyone mad. I haven't responded to the existing volunteer threads because these particular "call for volunteer" threads have some conditions that I simply cannot commit to. - I would be very interested in learning about cour...

Re: Need 2 Drivers for a 24 Hours of LeMons Team.

I did the 24 Hours of LeMons in 07 and 08 as the founding member of the Rubber Biscuit Racing Team before I "retired". Even though it certainly was nowhere near the fastest that I've driven on a road course, this W2W racing was the most fun that I've ever had in a car (barring the back sea...

Re: 4/3 Results Posted

+1 Sorry, but not my kind of course. I like more technical. The more slaloms, boxes, and lane changes the better. -1 I liked it! Not very technical, but having a little room for the fat car is nice once in a while. You flyweight, short wheelbase folks will have plenty of tight courses throughout th...

Re: 4/3 Results Posted

great job terry!!! Neil said that if I didn't take 1st that you wanted your seats back. Sorry to disappoint, but be sure to bring the cash back when you come for the seats. :) They do help quite a bit, but I am stilll getting used to them. Gimme a couple of events and maybe I can bring home the win...
