Re: wow, it's been a while since I was last here

You should do some SCCA Tracknights with us... great time! Got a link for tracknights? I'm down to do AMP with you - you mentioned it last time I saw you in Oak Ridge. I do need to do a few upgrades first; I just moved last week too so I got a lot going on. Hoping by March I can carve some time out...

wow, it's been a while since I was last here

I just checked out the forum for the first time in probably 2+ years. I hope everyone is doing well.

I still got the Camaro and plan to come out a bit come spring time. I have a lot of rust I need to knock off before I do another track day.

Merry Christmas!

Re: European Auto Garage Anual Poker Run

This was a fun event. Minus a little tire rub on the rear fender, the camaro ran great. Looks like I need to roll the rear lips a little.

Mechanical Engineer - been working in Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) of metal components for about 4 years. I work with all the DOE sites on the technology. Fun field thus far.

Re: End of season is soon, any plans for next season?

FYI, i don't even have a harness, I still run stock belts. My only addition is the roll bar. I run a 5 point with door swing on the driver side. I left the passenger side free since my wife and I take the car on trips and felt it would be a hassle for her. I leave the door swing off for street use. ...

Re: End of season is soon, any plans for next season?

You only need a roll bar if you have a convertible. Chris is correct - you need a helmet. The tech inspection is very similiar to SCCA Solo II. The specific web sites list the tech inspection details. Typically you are grouped upon level of experience. Each level increases in passing capabilities. N...

TracksUnlimited.net. It's ran by Mark West down in Cleveland, TN. I have been to events before through them - well organized but with a relaxed feel. I will decide in the next week or so if the car will be ready by then or not.

1964 Ford Falcon, 4 Door, Inline 6 200ci, Baby Blue. I was 16 at the time. Sold the falcon & bought a 1991 Chevy Lumina, traded it to my mom immediately for her 1992 S10 Blazer 4x4. Drove the Blazer through HS and College, sold it in 2006. I miss that thing - traded it in at Rice Buick/GMC on Ki...

Stratasys Fortus machine, perhaps? http://www.stratasys.com/3d-printers/production-series We have 3 here in Cali - we use it for ABS and Ultem. Resolution is .005"-.010", depending on which model we use. I mainly focus on the metals machine, which uses powder, not an extrusion process like...

Re: Rally Fighter?

In your managements defence, there is a big difference between $1000 Makerbots for rapid prototyping and metal powder machines priced $675,000-$2.5M for final part production :)

Do the tour if you can.
