Re: Power Brake Bleeder Question

Oh man, 20psi is pretty extreme. I usually do 10-15. Stay under 10 on an older car....ask me how I know.

Re: Power Brake Bleeder Question

Motive is OK. In a professional environment, I'm told they last about a year. I think maybe less for a casual user, as I suspect the seals degrade if they sit with brake fluid in them. Re: Best s2000 specialists??

Roddy Mitchell or JT Grail would probably be my choice, especially if anything is performance- or modification-related. Dennis Hall is good for "normal" work. And of course, I have to mention EAG but I'm a little biased. :)

Everybody I've ever heard talk about MCS only had good things to say. They're popular in the BMW road race circles.

Re: Local Titanium Welders?

JT Grail at Freedom Motorworx and Fabrication seems to be pretty handy with a TIG. I know people who have used him with success, but I have not used him personally.

Re: Best Body Shop In Knoxville Area?

I have seen some great work come out of Harper Collision. My opinion may be skewed, however, since I work right down the hill at VW. I have also heard great things about Mercedes' body shop, although I'm not sure it still exists.

Re: Harper Cars and Coffee

I spoke with Bill Johnson as he was passing thru the shop earlier. He recommended arriving before 7AM in order to be able to park together without issue. He also suggested parking over on the Dillard's/west side of the building, as it won't fill up as quickly. He did mention that his agreement with ...
