I learned that a nearly stock 40 year old car doesn't autocross well, but still had a great time.

Re: Who is staying in Bristol overnight Saturday between the school and our Sunday event?

There's a big cruise in that happens every Saturday night in Elizabethton. Could be a good opportunity to try and get more recruitment from the TRI area.

MikeKelly wrote: Fri Feb 23, 2018 11:27 am The last one I changed had to be chiseled out too.

I even machined a custom size punch for grease / bread etc - didn't work...
I feel better knowing others have had similar troubles.

Yeah, those didn't work. I was confident the bread trick would work, but it took a chisel to get the thing out.

For real? I'm a big fan of the site. I've had tons of fun at their local events. The only negative is the close proximity to the golf course.

Currently working on the 69 Corvette. Bought a new clutch and lightweight flywheel. During the install, found that the pilot bearing was shot.... spent about 4 hours cussing and throwing tools. Even made a trip to buy one of those pilot bearing pullers and still didn't get it out.

looked up that address on the local GIS. Looks like Sears still owns the land.
