Re: Newbie with 2002 Subaru WRX

I started with a 2002 WRX. It was plenty of fun to AX with few mods. I have a 2004 now. Suggest you start in the appropriate street tire class with a set of Dunlop Diarezza star spec tires and come out and have fun at the autocrosses for a year. You'll have learned enough at that point to decide wha...

Re: Wilwood Rotors

I have Wilwood big brakes on my WRX front and back - including 2 piece rotors. No problems in 1 1/2 years. I'll be over Sunday, so you can check them out. I do not like the Wilwood pads. Feel "lumpy" when hot. Probably off gasing. I'm using Carbotech AX6 pads and stopping is excellent. Mar...

Re: July 21 event

Is ETR doing annual techs and accepting annual techs from other regions yet. That might smooth things out a bit.

Sorry not to have been there this year, but I've been going to Atlanta to get beat up in STX. See you all Sunday.

Re: ADESA - DRIVING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE 2012 - OFFICIAL THR

Is there any chance of cutting us long distance attendees a little slack on this one. It would mean 1 more entry fee and a bright yellow grand sport to offer rides in. 1. Honoring anual techs from sister SCCA clubs 2. An automatic checkin with entry fee forfeiture for failing to attend. This would a...

Re: DNF's on 8/21

Thanks, That makes sense. I felt like I was having to come back a lot further than I remembered on my walks. I thought I was just pushing out too much. I probably added 2 seconds to my time taking that route. See you next time. Clyde I just read post from Disneyd. That's a good idea. I'll do that too.

DNF's on 8/21

Help needed, I had a great time at the races last Sunday. Unfortunately I was running a different course from everyone else and DNF'd every run. Does anyone working the first run group remember where I was off Course. I had no clue until I saw the results and still can't figure it out. I worked turn...
