Re: 17x9s ordered -- What tires for STX??

NT05's are not on the exclusion list. They're just not as fast as the Hankook, ZII, or Toyo. So, no one is running them. Gary and I thought about running some NT05's on the Geo since it's the only 275 you can get for a 17. After doing some reading, we decided we're probably faster on a 255 ZII. The ...

I'll be there. I can do the typical equipment setup, timing help, announce, or whatever needed.

In case you need a reason to blow off V-day

For my racer friends without Facebook, I have a special birthday coming up tomorrow (Friday). I'm planning to celebrate the first day of my 30's at Barley's in Maryville Friday night. I'll probably have dinner at 7ish, and then hang out upstairs for a while after. If you want to join me for dinner, ...

You can count on it being a LeMons track-side garage. Wrenching on cars in the rain is no fun.

Re: Looking to make a comeback!

If I were you, I'd stick to STM. At least locally. I don't expect there to be enough extra fun to cover the costs of A6's for a high power AWD car at Pellissippi. If you want to try a national event or two in the car, get some A6's for that. I predict STM to be a tough class this year. Gary and I ma...

How time consuming or difficult is it set up or take down? That looks like it would be great for LeMons races.

Re: STM to 200tw?

Oh, and as a STM competitor, no change for 2014. I think we ask competitors for feedback again at the end of this season if we want to change it at that time.

Three pages of discussion, and this hasn't come up again yet? What's up with this Bob? Is this a car you're building for STM?

Tiny Enclosed Trailer

I don't know the seller or anything about this trailer. My brother sent me the link to me since he knows I like odd stuff like this. I don't have any need for it, but it looks like the beginnings of a really sweet tire trailer. With a tire rack on top, you could have dry space inside for your tools ...

Re: Equipment Setup Crew Recruits Wanted

Per Pilson's great suggestion, I'm bumping this thread back up. I have become less and less able to be at every event over the last few years, and Bob wants to start chairing some events. If you're interested in taking on learning this job, please post up here. Please read the first post for general...

I'd like to see some bigger pictures. If it's the same style as the others we have at our office, I'll take it. If not, I might take it for myself to set up in my basement.
