I'm probably out for this one. Going to do VIR the next weekend and will need to check the car and change pads and such.

Re: Looking for help selecting class

Hey Tommy - it is section 13 in the SCCA rulebook that governs all Street classes.

You can put any 200+ treadwear tire on the stock wheels that you can fit. You can also increase or decrease the wheel DIAMETER by 1 inch. Width must be the same and offset has to be within 1/4 in/7mm

Re: Oct 9 event

My real answer is a two day event. Not the 24 hr thing...maybe in the future.

But let's make a festival out of it. TRSCCA used to do "Oktoberfast" 2 day and it was really fun. Let's make it a special event with giveaways, german food on the grill, etc.

The very first turn you did is pretty normal for a "national style" course for tours. Course designers are "encouraged" to make it so that the launch isn't a drag style to avoid car power disparity.

Re: Event 9 Course Design

Yep, slower courses but with reasonable gate width will be an advantage for power cars...going from dig to dig basically. Not necessarily "digs" but you know what I mean. My hamsters don't wake up until about 5500 and so for the first two turns were still napping. Loved the long slalom, bu...
