I've done the Phase1/2 schools in one weekend, one day for each school. We got to drive ALL day both days. I paid about the same ($200 a day). If they're doing both in the same day for $400, I would wait until they have a two day setup somewhere close. You'll get more seat time. I thought doing them...

We're not going on-line pre-reg only... but we are going to make it very advantageous for people to pre-register on-line. I've missed the last couple of meetings, so I may not be up to speed, but there will be a separate line for pre-regs (sign the waiver, drop your money and name, get outta line). ...

Well, I don't know the Miata market very well, so I'm open to expanding my budget if I have to.... how about $2500? I definitly want at least a '94, so if you see a deal somewhere, lemme know! I'll go check out Clinton Hwy and see what I can find. I'm not in a huge hurry (September/October is my tar...

WTB: 1994/1995 Mazda Miata
I'm looking for a 94/95 Miata... cheap. I don't care if it needs: engine work (or replacement), paint job, sheetmetal work (doors, fenders, hood, bumpers). I don't care if it has a salvage title, but I don't want one that needs any major frame work, also I would prefer one that hasn't been hit in th...

The worst cone damage I've seen in my 6 years or so has been scuff marks that came out with a little fine rubbing compound and some wax. Usually when you hit one it just pops them out of the way and you'd never know where they touched the car (actually, its the tire that displaces them usually). Tak...

The alternator has to go low on the passenger's side of the engine, where it is now (check the 3rd pic). It won't really fit anywhere else. I'll have the check on the AR on the turbo, I never paid any attention to what it was. We are using the 86 exhaust manifold. We can't really spend much more mon...

No secrets, just a lot of work... We're using the stock manifold, just ran a pipe out of it to the side of the car. We're using an Rx-7 alternator, so it would probably be a pain to switch over to a serpentine belt. The valve cover did come from the donor TC, but the paint was flaking off of it so w...

GRM Challenge Update
Ok, we went to the GRM $2004 challenge last weekend. A few people have asked how it went... so here goes. We spent the last three weeks working till midnight to get the car finished on time. It is a MG Midget with a Ford 2.3 Turbo engine, running stand alone fuel injection and big injectors. It laid...

You could do what we did to the GTX... weld the differential. I'd be glad to do it for you and I guarantee it will take care of the wheelspin problem :D Seriously, I think it is just the nature of having an open front differential. You might help it a little by monkeying around with sway-bars and su...
