I have wanted to get to go the shows for years and now I get the chance so I can't miss it, particularly with it being company business :D FWIW...

Cindy and I were bumming around in Charleston this long weekend and near the IMAX I had one of those "Oh my God, what in the hell is that?'kind of moments...I had to get a closer look and it was a Carrera GT. What a hell of a car. I checked on the web and saw the list price was $440,000 for a 1...

Meco Event Housekeeping

I saw that the security guard seemed to have a lot of people there that was occupying his time that he should have been using for his job. I told our HR guy before I wrote to Scott and the guard will be reprimanded. I appreciate all your efforts and I do hope we have other events here next season or...

Red Cross Donation for Hurricane Katrina victims

I am proud to say that Meco has announced that they will match any employee's donation...that made me feel good that mine would be worth double what it would have been through normal channels.

411 Event Today

Congratulations to Jason Collet for FTD  It was an exhilarating day for me too. I got almost all of what the Toyo's were capable of, and it's always fun to hear the big V8s run.

I had a blast even though the heat was hard on an old man. It was so hot I had to put the top up to make the trip home :D I liked the lot, I take back everything I said about it being too far...It was 15 miles further for me than Oak Ridge but easier and quicker to get to. I will be at the next ones...

A couple of weeks ago, I spotted a large lot on 321 across from the 25 intersection, less than a mile off I40. I looked like an abandoned Walmart.

Leather Seats

Larry? Those would match nicely with your '99. Which one??? :P Actually, after having had two rides with leather seats, I really don't want any more. The heated leather seats in the Acura are great in the winter but I hate having to use a towel in the summer when I am wearing shorts, or else sticki...

June 19 Oak Ridge Event

Thanks to Dave Disney and all for a great event. Dave, you got more course out of that lot than I thought possible, a really tight corner but lots of running room for a 40 plus second trip around the cones :D
