My thought exactly.

Also, I was out at BMS last night for drag racing and it looked like they had giant canopies up over the typical grid and paddock areas.

Re: Event #7 @ BMS/ SEDIV Championship

I'm actually suprised that there's not more Tri City and SWVA locals interested considering the size of the car scene. I'm thinking that it's got to do alot with the lack of promotion. You have to already be into the autocross scene to know that it's even happening. BMS doesn't have any info on thei...

Re: Event #7 @ BMS/ SEDIV Championship

There's a big drift shindig the weekend before this event. Would it be beneficial to show up and promote the event some? Will we need to plan on cleaning the surface any either?

Re: Does anyone run at other regions

Went down to Franklin, NC to run with HSCC today. It wasn't a super fast course, but the lot has some potential.

Re: Does anyone run at other regions

I've only heard complaints about the Danville lot, but I've never been there. I hear that it's on the rougher side and chews up tires. My favorite spot is ZMax with CCR. Those courses are usually very fast. Depending on where you're at, Highlands Sport Car Club would be a good option. They run good ...

This event was super fun. The times were so close in F Street.

I'd like to know where I cone'd the last run on Sunday. That is, if anyone working course remembers.

Ideally I'd like to stay under $500. If there is a price point a little higher that offers more bang for your buck, then it wouldn't take much convincing to talk me into it.

Re: Where/when are you autocrossing next?

I think I'll be racing virtually at Road America. Got some new pedals today. I bought an IRacing subscription a while back, but haven't gotten a proper wheel / pedals. I've been wearing the Miatas out at Laguna Seca with an old Xbox 360 controller. Any suggestions on a decently priced Wheel and Ped...
