Taylor White aka Five Rivers Electronic Innovations LLC is in Greeneville, up I-81 about an hour nor'east from downtown Knoxville. I'll get with Dave D on some directions and map. There are several fast food and sit down restuarants within a mile or so of the site, and they say we can use the restro...

RE: Comcast As of 5pm I've not been able to reach our Comcast contact. Hopefully he will respond to voice mail and I will get the full scoop Monday. The message he left is that the new General Manager who took over in June nixed all further autocross events on their lot. We'll see if a face to face ...

Jon, Check the Cedar Bluff towing junk yard just off Pell Pky near Dutchtown Rd. A couple of years ago my teenager tried out the roof wheels of a '96 Protege DX with 13" steel wheels. The ones on top didn't fare too well, but the ones that were supposed to be on the asphalt weren't hurt as far ...

I apologize to everyone for the delay in getting t-shirts for trophies & purchase - since there's such strong interest in a new design I have now accepted Chris Harp's offer to have his artist friend do something new for the back. Hopefully I'll get that in front of Solo Committee folks within t...

What a nice screw-up I did - 4 event chairmen for 1 date!! John Brown is the event chair for the June 27th event at Oak Ridge Mall. Back in the May meeting John let us know that he needed to swap out the June 6th event he was originally scheduled to chair, and I plugged him in as the chairman at the...

Anyone heading up to Tri-cities this week??

If you happen to be traveling up to Tri-cities this week, perhaps you could help fix a small problem left over from the Elizabethton event. It turns out that we picked up a large cone that belonged to the parking lot owner - it's used to cover a plumbing stub that sticks up from surface near their f...

Tyler,
I'll be at the Elizabethton autox Sun 6/13 - if you're going to the 6/27 event at Oak Ridge Mall just bring the radio with you then, of you don't mind. If not, call me next week and I'll work out picking it up at Comcast or meeting you somewhere.
Thanks,
Dick

Thanks for offering help Chad. Three or four of us are heading up late Sat afternoon to get the course set up, so I think we have that covered. If you'd like to come early Sun - around 8-8:30 we could use the help to get registration setup, waivers signed, direct traffic, etc. You can call me at 865...

Robert,
We have to have safety stewards in attendance - at least 1 who is not driving. Currently we have Disney, Hurst, Yoder, Davenport, Miller, and Kaudewitz licensed as sstewards - are any of them already attending? If not, I'll see what incentive I can offer to get at least one to attend.

ETR vs. SCCA stickers

Wayne has a new supply of SCCA stickers. When we clean out the trailer this weekend we'll confirm how many ETR stickers we have in stock, and order more if needed. Cliff Gibbs will be our Registration Chairman for 2004, so if you need ETR stickers before the first event please contact him after this...

GCR & Solo II rule books

Wayne,
I ordered my GCR from Bear Promotions Monday so I won't need one on the club order - they're now saying they hope to have them available right after the 1st. I suggest we start with 30 Solo II rule books.

Happy Holidays,
