Re: Solo's newest category, SoloStanced
More camber = more time subtracted from your run! Love it.

Re: Kart sites on the schedule
Looks like Kieran's kart would be OK since his has a lot of ground clearance, but mine would have the scrape from H3ll if I hit it straight on. Kinda like running over the curbs straight on at a track, not that I've ever done that... If the course could be angled, even a little, then the karts...

Re: Your experience taking it to the road courses.
I may attempt one of these later this year after I've heard some feedback. Looks like a good deal, but 4+ hours to anything close means a full day off and lots of driving to and fro.

Re: New Registration Procedure Suggested
If I may, in Philly Region we tried the two line approach with some good success. We had a line for essentially checking in so we'd know you were actually present and to get your work assignment. That line was for the pre-reg, pre-paid folks with no changes (i.e. the regulars). The second line was f...

So he has a high opinion of his car and thinks that you should too, regardless of any possible (real or perceived) shortcomings. He sounds like a national competitor...
Maybe time to move on if you're not willing to accept the risks from those shortcomings.

Re: What now?
The WRX sounds very appealing now. And contrary to your assertion that it wouldn't be fun to autox, I loved my AWD Subie. Set up the rear stiffly for more RWD-like action and hammer the throttle. I really miss that car more than any others I've autoxed. RE: the one or two car solution, if you have t...

Re: Lincoln Nats/ ETR tent
Yeah, the wind from the big storm that blew through broke my brand new ez-up heavy duty frame. The big tents are a great solution for that problem. That said, I won't be coming this year.

Re: Official SEDiv II Event April 11 & 12 Register Now
So from discussion on the kart sites thread, it looks like the transition from the middle lot to the lowest lot is a real problem area. I think we shall forego this event.

Looks reasonable. Karts OK here? I see lots of curbs, but those don't bother us much.

Re: Official SEDiv II Event April 11 & 12 Register Now
So this event is in Kodak (not Sevierville), right? Anyone have video of previous events there? Trying to decide if we could run Sunday.
Re: TIRES
JB make sure those say Bridgestone on them and not Rubberstone.
Re: TIRES
So on par with R comps? Hmm, who could have predicted that?!

Rival S is coming in 3 weeks... I love tire wars.

Re: what do i need to do for a jr kart
Get him to a track for some seat time! He won't learn a lot at an autox with only a few runs. The clone motor isn't a problem for the kids - stock clones are approved. Modified clones are not very welcome (for kids) because it's hard to police the innards. And they fail and cost more money to fix th...
