Re: interesting... worrysome.. but real.

3 ft per yd means that the distance involved is 3000ft. Having played the distance game in multiple liquor/beer lawsuits, that is more than a half a mile and in a intense residential area, there will always be apartments within that distance.

Re: miata radiator

You probably looked at it wrong. Just a slight bump may kill it. I have even seen them work after they were damaged so long it was firmly held in place BUT do you really want to take that chance. I used the Roger Delp method and merely cut a short length of hose and tie wrapped it. We rarely replace...

Re: 7.3 power stroke help

I had the V-10 so other than guzzling more gas towing, my experience with Excursions was the same as JB's. The only real maintenance issue was going thru brakes(rotors and pads) every 22k but when you remember that the truck weighs 7k plus whatever you are towing, it shouldnt surprise you too much. ...

Re: miata radiator

It is also incredibly easy to tweak the temp sensor that sits on top of the thermostat housing so that it looks whole and functioning but actually is broken and no longer sending a signal to the fan(its only purpose). Dont ask how I know this tidbit but in the race car, we always took a piece of hos...

Re: miata radiator

the radiator in an old miata will eventually pop along the plastic header. No reason to push that unless you enjoy meeting AAA tow truck drivers along Pellissippi Parkway. Replacement is cheap and easy. Done in about an hour unless you have a problem transferring some of the attachment hardware from...

Re: Adesa lost n found

I found that hat lying on the ground in front of the garage doors and put it on the timing table. It might have come from a ride-a-long in which case the driver in that instance did his job. lol It wasnt the right size for me.

Re: Where do I sign up?

My nephew would kick my ass on various video games but cant drive a street car(what's a manual trans?) much less a race car. My problem is that I wasnt getting any input thru my ass which as JBB will tell you is the most important sensor in racing. I was pretty good on a race track and absolutely ho...
