The R1R's have been awesome. I feel like I'm still learning how to drive with the extra grip.

I've been looking around on the website for information on how the championship points are calculated. Is this posted on the site anywhere? And what is this "jacket" I keep hearing about? Is there a championship trophie event or gathering at the end of the year?

But don't you have a Miata?

You've got lots of options for engine replacements for the Camaro. I look forward to seeing/hearing whatever you decide on.

Re: Regional #12

Ob lost+found: I have a black bag with the Sprint logo on the side of it. It was near grid spot 14 during the second run group. If you think it may be yours let me know. It's not mine, but it was sitting near my grid spot. I meant to carry it up to the tent, but I forgot. I'm glad someone saw it an...

I'd love to have something like that (with a passenger seat and a more comfortable driver's seat) for a daily driver. It would be fun to AutoX also, but I don't know that I'd ever have it on a road course.

If I ever get rid of the Focus, maybe I'll put something like that together.

I'm typically obligated on Thursday nights, but I may try to make it out there. Anyone know if I'd be able to get away with running my car and my bike without having to pay double the entry fee?

"yeah, it's one of those honda sts cars like this one (pointing to haupt's car) and they were racing each other all over the place." That person definitely didn't see it for himself. The two cruisers in front of us were "racing" with us too. People up there seem to be so prejudi...

The problem didn't seem to be that he was pushing the car too much for the conditions. The problem seemed to be the driver losing focus (no pun intended) of the roadway, dropping two tires off the pavement (not from too much speed over a crest), and then not being able to get it all straightened out...

howd he manage to lose it to the INSIDE of a turn? It all started before the turn. He got a couple of tires off the road, and over-corrected a couple of times. Once the tires all caught traction, he was pointed down the side of the mountain. Michael saw it all, and explains it pretty well in the Fo...

How NOT to Park on the Dragon

http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x315/AaronDC8402/1018081608.jpg On Saturday, a small group of guys from the FocalJet message forum came out for a trip through Deal's Gap followed by dinner in Gatlinburg. One of them drove their car off the side of the mountain. Everyone was OK, no injuries. No d...

That's some crappy public relations they've got going on at Subaru of America. Seems a little backwards to piss off all the people that otherwise would be praising the company and practically selling cars for them.
