I too had a good time. The truck this event was more consistant and felt less squirly in the rear end than the previous event. I am not sure if the vht or the polyurethane bushing helped in this, or simply seat time, but all my passes were with one second if I remember correctly. The only bad thing ...

Guys, thanks for the comments. Tonight I decided to spray a small bit on the rear tires while I had it jacked up. After about 20 minutes the tires (or surface anyway) were super sticky. I went and checked it about an hour ago and they were even stickier. My concern at this point was last time the tr...

I should have posted a little more in my original response, but first off, Michael, I did list the tires I intend to use this on. BTW, I'm in the NSM class. Secondly, I have also heard of guys mixing the VHT 50/50 with rubbing alcohol. Supposidly when sprayed onto the tires, it allows the VHT to soa...

VHT Trackbite on Street radials?
I have some VHT trackbite for the dragstrip and I have considered using it for the autocross events, however usually you want a stiff sidewall for cornering, so now I am thinking it might not help - however I have seen others use it before. I can find pros and cons for using it for autocross reasons...

I am afraid I am going to be put into a category that REALLY limits my ability and the ability of the truck. I didnt even win the NHS class last year, and the thought of moving up to a higher class sucks even more. It might run a 15.8 in the 1/4 and pull a .88g if lucky....it's nothing great agains...

yeah. Technically, is a truck a two seater? Its got a 60/40 bench seat with a seat belt for a middle passenger, as well as a booster seat in the back- thus I can have four people buckeled up -although it would be uncomfortable. Heck, even three is a PITA, but to answer your question, its not a two ...

How come the link to my picture didn't come out? I thought I entered it in correctly, but apparently I didn't. Secondly, I have thumbed through the rule book but have not found anything about the Novice group. The one event I was in last year was the NHS, which I was under the assumption was, Novice...

A V6 truck is going to compete this year.
Hey Everyone. I just want to say hello and mention how excited I am to be competing this year in the solo II events. Here is a shot of the only event I was in last year - it was in Oak Ridge. My goal for this year - have fun and surprise a few people along the way. See you March 5th -Derek http://ho...
