Only problem is that we set our first local event on March 7th...

Before everyone asks... the schedule will be posted very soon, Dick is just checking/fine tuning some things. Looks like we might have a decent new lot thanks to Harley.

Cliff, let me know once you assemble your team. We'll get together sometime before the first event and do some training on the laptop/software.

I don't have my rulebook here, but I'm pretty sure the valve on the bottle has to be closed and all hoses attached to the bottle must be disconnected. You may even have to remove the bottle from the car, I'm not sure. If the bottle is left in, it would have to pass tech on the "no loose items&q...

ETRSCCA FAQ

Ok, here is what I have come up with. Please give me a hand looking for typos and filling in a few blank spots. Also, any critique or suggestions for additional information are appreciated. This is just the guts of the FAQ, I'll format it better when its finalized (questions in bold, table of conten...

I know several people who have used the Hawker Genesis battery in their 3rd gen Rx-7s (relocated the battery to the storage bin behind the driver's seat). From the dimensions, it sounds like the same battery TNTurbo was talking about. I haven't heard that anyone has had one die any earlier than a re...

Thanks, thats exactly what I was going for.... fancy flash multimedia presentations and other eyecandy just seem to increase the time it takes to get the information you want. I'm trying to keep it simple and quick. Though I do plan to freshen up the look of the main web pages and re-organize them s...

I'd like to know where the deal is too.... Anyway, the Optima red top batteries I've been using aren't really any smaller than a normal battery, but they will just about last forever (8+ years), can't leak, aren't affected by vibration, and can be run down completely and recharged many times without...

Looks like there is some info at: http://www.tvrscca.org

But the tvrscca.com site looks to be hosed... weird thing is that there isn't even a whois entry at the domain name registrar... its just blank, but the domain name is listed as taken.

No, I'll check with them. Thanks The metal host listed above looks interesting, but it has a 9.5" minimum bend radius and is not air tight (it would probably let small particles in). I may try going to Advance and Truck Pro and see if they have any radiator hoses w/bends that are 3" ID. Th...

The intake on the Mustang won't cause a problem in tech... it will just bump you into a class where you won't be as competitive if your car is stock otherwise. That isn't that big of a deal for a newbie, you can still compare your times with stock (or other) classes and once you learn the ropes you ...
