Re: ETR 2017 Regional #6 Debrief

Well, after having the car on the alignment rack this morning I don't feel bad at all about the times I was turning. It's a small miracle that I had any clean runs. I spent last night sorting out my alignment as well. Not sure how/why but my left rear seemed to have lost some camber. New rear end a...

Re: ETR 2017 Regional #6 Debrief

I'm getting a bit frustrated with the vette. I don't know if I'm just not getting enough heat in the tires early or what, but it seems like I can't ever put down a proper time before 4 to 5 runs in it. I can't remember the last car I ran at events where I was routinely around 2 seconds off after 2 o...

Porsche 996 stainless brake lines, strut brace, ignition switch, winter wheels and tires, GMG sway bars, PSS9 coilovers

If interested in an item make an offer. Honestly no clue what most of this is worth anymore. All parts from/for a 2002 911 C2 Coupe, though they fit many other 996/997/Boxster models as well. I have new in box stainless braided brake lines for a 996 model 911. Used strut brace from a 996. New in pac...

Re: Should I buy a custom front sway bar or no?

I was really happy with speedway engineering bars mounted in some delrin/brass bushings on my miata. It is a really light weight setup, zero binding ever, and makes it super friendly to change sway bar rates around to almost anything. It did require making my own mounting setup. I never drilled diff...

Re: Blytheville Pro

My learning curve on the corvette continues. First time with the car on concrete, and second dry event, and it had bad oversteer everywhere saturday. I struggled a lot with the corner entry oversteer and ended up getting off line pretty much every run. Made some shock adjustments for sunday and it f...

Re: ETR#2 - Romancing the cone!!

QUESTION for the crew here: is sway bar rate the same as spring rate? I know there will be some differences in actual wheel rate since they are not located in the same place, but if you have a 100 lb spring and a 100lb swaybar rate do you end up with a 200 lb rate if everything else was equal? Sway...
