Re: ~~~~~~LINCOLN 2012~~~~~~

I have a bunch of little things to get done still. I'm heading to Knoxville next weekend to help Kim move into her new place. She's about 50% there already but I'll be helping move the garage stuff over. I am going the truck's brakes this weekend, going over the car for basic review, making sure not...

Re: Corvette Advice

You should be recieving you gold chains, silk button down shirt and Boston:3rd stage 8 track in the mail. Seriously.... goot luck. As I stated in the PM, there's a few really good drivers in AS running them, so there's planty of info to be had. Sam had a hand in them as well, and if you plan on runn...

Re: ~~~~~~LINCOLN 2012~~~~~~

amazing how quick it filled.

We ( SCR / Ohio peeps ) reserved a good chunk of rows 8 & 9. I think we needed like 45 spots or something like that between 2-3 regions.

Re: Corvette Advice

One thing that is encouraging about the C5 still is that it's STILL competitive in it's classes, especially SS and SSP. In stock class trim it's' still a super comfortable car for trips and daily driving and at any time you can step on the fun pedal and not be dissapointed. Prices seems to be flatte...

Re: Corvette Advice

There's not allot of a price gap between the FRC and the Z... there was less of the FRC's made those 2 years, so finding them is harder and therefore ones in nice shape are more $$. The valvespring issue was MAINLY on 01 and early 02 LS6 cars. That said, once that have seen allot of track use spend ...

Re: Corvette Advice

Hello... My Z06 is pretty easy on tires provided that the camber is set for more cones than street. I get about 75-100 runs ( mostly asphalt lots ) out of a set of hoos before they are worthless. Cars are extremely rugged and going back and forth to Peru with a tire trailer loaded up with tools, tir...

Re: Peru results

Steve, saw your post on RRautox about the canopies. That was mine ( assuming you were talking about the ones across from you ) and our other region guys' tents. That was a total flub on my part. I honestly didn't think it was going to get that bad. My apologies and thank you for grabbing the tops of...

Re: Peru results

I want to say that he got the last slalom cone one run and he got cone #111 one run, which was the single inside cone for the first left hander. Agreed.. I know the last cone in the slalom was one and THOUGHT that he got that cone in the 1st section as well. It was crazy down there @ one point and ...

Re: Peru results

I was working corner 2 in the slalom and could see all of 1 as well.

It's all kinda a blurr... but I do remember him getting a cone in the slalom one at least 1 run.

Congrats to Lin on her 1st Tour win! I was there at the finish when she came in on her 3rd run and she was about ready to jump our of the car :) Congrats to the Other ETR drivers as well. It was good to meet a few more of you. Worked out nice being 'across the street' from you in paddock. Our SCR fo...

Re: ~~~~~~LINCOLN 2012~~~~~~

Before registration even opened I booked my room @ what used to be the suburban extended stay. It's in town, so it's about a 10 minute drive to site, but it's an easy drive. Also, I got it for $45/night. No pool or fancy ammenities, but has a full kitchen, and you can walk to all the night spots if ...

I'll be there. So far the list isn't huge, but this one usually has been slow to fill until it gets closer.

Re: Pellissppi 6/3 - Nice job Will!

Anyone post up a video of their runs? I was watching the live results from PA and Kim was calling, giving me updates but I'd like to see how the course looked. was that a good turnout for the site? Thanks to all that made Kim feel welcome and helped her out thru the day. I was Happy that someone was...

Re: ETR #2 done!

Yeah, your comment on what works for you is key as well. Not everyone takes away the same things from their walks. We have a local FS driver that's been doing this for years and @ every event he walks it alone... and sketches it all out. He gets incrementally better each year, but not where he could...
