Re: Oct 9 event

I want to do the Charlotte Tour the next week, so I definitely don't want to tie up 2 days. May or may not do 1 day depending on weather/format/motivation.

Re: CHIEF OF rEGISTRATION

The big thing is getting the events set up and in MSR at the beginning of the year. Then registration questions will be routed to your email. I suppose the other thing is making sure you have a crew for events, but that is typically pretty easy.

Re: Event 9 Course Design

Wasn't there, but I don't think there was anything on that course that would have kept my car from having a chance to be in the mix. Looks like I would have been out of the power band in places and looks like it would have been pushy for people that can't rely on throttle rotation at all speeds, but...

Re: Formula SAE Team, Registration and Multiple Drivers

I'm no sound meter, but I've been throwing discs at Pelli during test sessions in the spring and nothing stood out as loud.

Re: Suspension Question

Be sure to check the endlinks with the car loaded. With that said, that is going to make a clunk and not a pop. And won't make the car pull. Car pulling could be a separate issue. Are you springs "free"? They could be seating and unseating in the perch. Again, not an issue that causes pull...

There are a couple of CAM-like rules and some min weights, but yeah, XSA is an option.

Re: Event #3 Bristol Recap

I've spent 6-7 hours a day at work wearing a headset on conference calls the last 2 years. I can assure you that wearing a headset doesn't prevent people from talking over each other.

Re: E46 Sub Frame Reinforcement - Welder Needed

Is it anything more than putting these brackets in place and running a few seams? I'd think anybody that you'd trust to weld could do it for not terribly much (in relation to $3500, especially). It was 5+ years ago, but I broke the front swaybar brackets off the subframe of my MR-2 Spyder and it was...
