Do I need to RSVP? I'd be curious to see if I'd pick anything up from it, but I'm not sure I could commit or not. It's right around the corner, but I might be leaving for Road Atlanta the following morning and you never know when you might have to put out a fire.

Wheel machining?
If I needed to get the pad of a wheel machined for a higher offset, is there a place in Knoxville that does that, and if anyone has experience, what does it typically cost?

Re: End of the year awards
Unless the new ones are measurably waterproof and/or WAY better than those from 2008, I'd be game for just adding a line as well. (just being selfishly honest there).

Re: wheels
For those interested, you can probably find cheaper (from the same vendor) through Amazon, but here's the catalogue from NLM, sortable by bolt pattern, diameter, and offset.

Re: wheels
Got a new set of wheels today. XXR 531 in 18x11 chromium black in color. Should make for a good second set of wheels/tires for evo school time. Curious how these work out. XXRs are sooooo cheap they're almost disposable, but some look decent and come in S30 Z and NSX-friendly sizes, so I'll been in...

Re: Don't stand where race cars will go
Yeah, I've guessed wrong and nearly ended up on the recieving end of a Fiero-gone-amok. I picked a spot with my photographer hat on....then thought about it as a driver and decided to move. Unfortunately, the place to which I tried to move was already occupied by an angry nest of yellowjackets, so I...

Re: 2013 Points & Regional #11 Results
Yeah, this was different after the nail-biters in a few classes last year around this same time. In STM there were quite a few REALLY close event finishes: .25s (event 2), .03s (day 1 Chilhowee), .06s (Adessa), and .10s (Britt over steve) at the last event. It's just been a different set of people i...
