Re: Sad day
Upon further review, the ruling on the field is overturned... You're still classed in SS You're not going to try though this weekend are you? If so... then after my 3 PRO class runs I want a try! Probably not as I doubt I will get enough miles on it. It has about 150 so far and the manual...
Re: Sad day
I guess I am not a master of the rules! :) All I found on it was the second paragraph under the start of Appendix A on page 165 which states: "All unclassified cars will compete in Super Stock (SS) until classified by the SEB, unless covered by a “catch-all” description." What am I missing...
Re: Sad day
From what I read in the rule book it seems I should still be in SS for a new production unrated car.

Re: So what if I really did sell the CRX? What next?
I know I priced a set of slightly oversized (from stock) Hoosiers around $1500 for my 09 Corvette and it was not a Z06.sentrase wrote:What would the tire cost be for a SS/SSR Z06 per year, say 12 locals and 5 Tours?
A set of RS3's was around $1400 (at the time) and a set of RE-11's is about $1200.

Re: Speeding ticket advice
Maybe Knoxville is different. But usually 5 over is in a different point/cost class than 13. YMMV.steverife wrote:Why would reducing it matter? Looks like a theoretical 1 over is still 3 points and the same fine.

Re: Speeding ticket advice
If you go to court, as long as the interaction was civil, try to talk the officer beforehand and see if he would be willing to reduce the amount you were speeding. Talk about your good driving history. Some officers MAY be agreeable to that as long as he doesn't remember you as a wiener head. :) If ...

Thanks Brian!
We can play it by ear. I'm still hoping it might show (and early enough to put some miles on it before Adesa!)
Hopefully your car's hub is a simple fix!
